Sensei Dan Grover
Dan has been involved in martial arts for 26 years. He has been studying Aikido for 15 years and has had the opportunity to go to many seminars and study under many teachers.
Dan is currently under the direction of Frank Doran, Shihan (7th degree), of the California Aikido Association, Division 2. He previously studied under the direction of Hugh Young, former owner and dojo-cho of the Utah Aikikai. Dan is still in contact with the Utah Aikikai, now under the direction of and ownership of dojo-cho Rick Berardini.
Dan has tried to keep Aikido accessible to the Ogden, Utah area. He has taught at Weber State University as part of the Weber State Martial Arts Club, relocating to downtown Ogden's Gold's Gym in 2003. He taught with his good friend and fellow aikido student, Zac VanMeeteren, for four years until Gold's moved to a new location. Dan is currently teaching aikido out of his personal dojo at his home in North Ogden, Utah.
